Yorkshire Pudding tossing, Vikings and crafty activities will be included in an event to celebrate Yorkshire Day at Bradford’s Bolling Hall.
The event, which takes place on Yorkshire Day Wednesday 1 August, will give people the chance to try their hand at Yorkshire Pudding tossing, with prizes for the child who can throw the Yorkshire delicacy the furthest.
People will also be able to get up close to authentic Vikings and find out about how they came to Yorkshire, how they fought and how they lived.
Members of a local re-enactment group will be in the gardens of the museum, recreating what life was like when the Vikings came to Yorkshire in the mid-9th century.
