Retired miners in Leeds have revived an old industry tradition, by dressing up as a groom and bride.
Known as ‘Josh weddings’, the events used to be put together to raise cash for fellow miners who had fallen ill or were injured.
The tradition made part of a parade at Lotherton Hall today (1 August).
