Two men who were accused of the attempted murder of two police officers have been cleared of the charge.
Prosecutors claimed the two men drove a stolen 4x4 jeep at the officers.
David McLean, 31, and Ryan Gilmour, 25, were allowed to leave the court as free men after a jury returned not proven verdicts against the pair.
The duo stood trial on the allegation that they tried to kill PCs Deborah Lawson and Robert Fitzsimmons on Glasgow's Banner Drive in October last year.
The court heard how PC Lawson was dragged a total of 14.5 metres by the vehicle after the pair allegedly refused to get out of the car.
The court was told that as she lay on the ground, Gilmour, who was said to have been the driver, started driving the car towards her.
Her colleague PC Fitzsimmons pushed her out of the way. They both sustained serious injuries and needed hospital treatment.
DNA found in the vehicle led to the arrest of McLean and Gilmour and a purse was discovered in the vehicle that contained a driver's licence and bank cards, which belonged to a woman who had the same surname as McLean.
But, jurors took just over an hour to return verdicts of acquittal against the two men. They had pleaded not guilty at the start of proceedings.
