They are aware of an email that is circulating and is claiming to be from the 'West Yorkshire Police Camera Unit', asking for details of the recipient’s vehicle.
Detective Chief Inspector Vanessa Smith of the West Yorkshire Cyber Crime Unit and the Regional Cyber Crime Unit for Yorkshire and Humber said: “I would urge people to remain vigilant when receiving emails and to have the most up to date security software on their computer."
