Police re-appeal over 2016 Bradford park death

Police in Bradford have renewed an appeal for information on the anniversary of a man’s death two years ago.

Beyake Keita-Ann, who was 21 at the time, was attacked by a gang armed with baseball bats while he played football in Attock Park, Bradford Moor, on 23 August 2016.

It is believed the attack came after the football hit a parked car belonging to two men, described as Asian.

After Mr Keita-Ann’s death, police launched a murder investigation which has led to more than 20 men being arrested. A number of suspects remain on bail in connection with the killing.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott, of the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team, said: “We remain committed to getting justice for Beyake and his family, who are desperate to know why their son was attacked and who was responsible.”
