Plans to extend an Islamic Centre have been submitted to Bradford Council.
The Islamic welfare centre in Frizinghall, on the corner of Granville Road and Beamsley Road, is looking to add another storey and rear extension to the property.
It is believed the extra room will allow for another 50 people to use the building during Friday prayers.
In the application it is noted that the centre is currently unable to meet the demands of the community and that the new proposal would allow more space for female users.
A decision is expected to be made on the proposal by Bradford Council next month.
