A paranoid man has been sentenced to jail after he stabbed his partner.
The incident that took place last year in June saw Paul Martin attack his partner with a kitchen knife during an argument.
Hayley Crouch received a number of injuries to her hands and was stabbed in the chest.
Leeds Crown Court heard the relationship had been “a destructive one” for both parties who were both drug users.
The 37-year-old, of Cardigan Close, Batley pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and was jailed for five years and four months.
