A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Huddersfield.
Emergency services were called at 2.21am this morning (26 March) to reports of a male being stabbed on New Hey Road.
The man, in his 40s, was found unresponsive. He was taken to hospital but despite medical treatment died as a result of his injuries.
A large police cordon was put in place in the New Hey Road area whilst police continue with their enquiries.
