Harinder Singh Mander has been jailed after he was caught in a theory test scam - in fact prior to his arrest he had sat the test eleven times in four months all over the UK for people who feared they wouldn't pass.
The court was shown CCTV footage which showed the 36 year old sitting the theory tests in various centres including Harlow, Slough, Oxford, and Stratford on Avon posing as other people. He was being paid between £100 and £150 a time.
Singh Mander, was jailed for 12 months after pleading guilty to a charge of fraud by false representation.
Judge Michael Kay QC told Singh Mander from St Kenelms Close, West Bromwich: "Obviously, there is a serious risk of having people not fit to drive on our roads, one can only imagine the chaos that would be caused. You were enabling such people to obtain a licence."
