West Yorkshire: A man has been jailed for 4 years for an aggravated burglary in Bradford.
On 25 July last year at around 3.30pm a group of masked males including Creddy Taylor was armed with a machete when they smashed entry into a property on Wentworth Crescent.
The victim fled the scene and Taylor made off stealing jewellery and cash
Creddy Taylor, age 21 of Gamble Hill Place, Leeds was forensically linked to the offence and was charged with aggravated burglary.
He pleaded not guilty and went to trial.
On Friday 12 January Creddy was found guilty of aggravated burglary and sentenced to 4 years in prison.
Detective Constable Sam Williams of the District Crime Team said:
“We welcome the sentence handed down to Taylor today, he is a prolific offender.
“Taylor thought he wouldn’t get caught and told lies about his accomplices.
“I hope the sentence brings the victim some justice knowing that Taylor is now behind bars.”
