A new scheme has been introduced to schools – with an eye on improving maths and literacy levels.
Pupils in 100 schools will take part in a trial of Glasses for Classes, a programme developed by a team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Leeds.
It is hoped the trial will help identify children with undiagnosed eye conditions, which may have affected their development in school.
