Police are investigating a firearms discharge in Bradford which caused damage to a property.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 11.15pm on Wednesday 29 August, when police were contacted about a suspected ongoing burglary at an address on Cleckheaton Road.
It is believed a motorbike may have been used to carry out the offence.
Officers attended and found damage to a door and window which was later confirmed as being consistent with the discharge of a firearm.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are at an early stage and continuing, but we believe the suspect may have used a motorbike in the commission of the offence.
“Firearms discharges are a serious matter and increased patrols will be operating in the area today to offer reassurance to residents.”
