Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Bingley
At 4.12am yesterday police received reports of a crash in Bradford Road. Police and paramedics attended and found a blue Audi RS4 which has collided with a tree and a lamppost outside Ashfield Court.
The passenger, a 22-year-old man from Bradford, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Bradford, was treated at hospital for minor injuries and has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101.
