A prisoner escaped from police custody while at hospital in Leeds.
Police are now appealing for information to trace the man.
Daniel Brown, aged 22, ran off from officers shortly before 9am on Wednesday, 14 June, as he was being escorted to a police van outside St James's Hospital, where he had been taken for treatment.
He is white, 5ft 8ins tall, with short, light brown hair. He was dressed in black tracksuit bottoms, a black t-shirt and black trainers and was wearing two pairs of handcuffs. He ran off towards the Shakespeare tower blocks pursued by officers but managed to get away.
An extensive search of the area was conducted but he could not be found.
Brown had been arrested the previous day after being circulated for recall to prison following his release in March from an 18-month sentence for possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence during an incident in June last year.
The police believe he presents no immediate danger to the public.
