An elderly woman was hospitalised after she was hit by a car in Batley.
The incident happened yesterday morning, 18 July, at around 10:15am on Henrietta Street, near to the junction with Upper Commercial Street.
A Vauxhall Insignia was turning from Upper Commercial Street onto Henrietta Street when the collision occurred as a pedestrian was crossing the road.
The 80-year-old victim was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries.
