An investigation has been launched after two people were stabbed in an attack in Leeds over the weekend.
The incident took place on Sunday 31 March on Mabgate, shortly after midnight.
There was an altercation between a couple and a group of youths. The victims, a 52-year-old male and a 47-year-old female, suffered stab wounds and were taken to hospital via ambulance.
The suspects fled the scene but five males aged 15, 16, 17, 18 and 20 and one 15-year-old girl, were located by police and arrested.
The victims are still in hospital receiving treatment for serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.
