Bradford Drug Dealers Sentenced

A 31 year old Bradford man who was caught dealing drugs three times has been jailed for four and a half years.

Bradford Crown Court heard that Sajid Mahmood, of Parkside Road, West Bowling, was arrested multiple times, twice whilst out on bail. Mahmood pleaded guilty to possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply on January 5, March 7 and April 3 this year, and supplying heroin on January 5.

The third time Mahmood was arrested he was caught with 21 year old Murtaza Ali, of Marten Road, Canterbury, Bradford.

Ali admitted possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply on April 3 and was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment, suspended for two years, with a community order, a rehabilitation activity requirement, a six-month curfew and a drug rehabilitation requirement.

In a separate case at Bradford Crown Court a 30 year old man was jailed for 32 months after he was caught with a bag containing more than 100 wraps of Class A drugs.

Mohammed Hannan of Fearnsides Road, Manningham pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine on November 17 last year.
