A new drive to develop skills in the medical technologies sector will see Bradford College work with educational institutions and medical technologies companies in the Leeds City Region.
Leeds has been awarded £200,000 to create a National MedTech Skills Academy as part of a £6.1m investment from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
The University of Leeds will lead the project, acting as a centre of expertise to support this rapidly-growing sector.
