Foster families in the Bradford district will enjoy a special screening of Mary Poppins Returns this Christmas season.
The University of Bradford has sponsored a screening of the new Mary Poppins film at Cineworld Bradford on Wednesday 2 January.
Around 300 people are expected to enjoy the film along with refreshments and a selection box paid for by the university.
Coun Adrian Farley, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Children and Families, said: "We are extremely grateful to the University of Bradford for their support in funding this special screening. It will be a great chance for our foster families to get together and have fun this Christmas."
Professor Brian Cantor, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bradford said: “I am pleased that the University has been able to help provide these families with a cinema trip and selection box and I hope they all have a great time.”
