£14m works to begin on Bradford junctions

Bradford Council and West Yorkshire Combined Authority are planning £14 million worth of improvements to three junctions in West Bradford on the A6177 Ring Road and want to hear people’s views and ideas on the project.

The upgrades are planned at the junctions of Great Horton Road and Horton Grange Road, Thornton Road and Cemetery Road, and Toller Lane and Whetley Hill.

To gather opinions, a public engagement programme on the West Bradford Junctions Improvement Scheme is running from Monday 18 February until Friday 29 March and proposals will be available to view online at yourvoice.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/westbradford.

The council said the West Bradford Junctions Improvement Scheme will make the surrounding areas more attractive and easier for pedestrians and cyclists, and will support growth in jobs, businesses and housing developments in the immediate areas and wider district.
