Virat Kohli wins three ICC awards

India captain Virat Kohli swept up three accolades at the International Cricket Council awards.

The 30-year-old was named the 2018 cricketer of the year as well as being voted Test and one-day international player of the year.

It is the first time a player has won all three prizes in the same year.

No England players made the Test team of the year, despite James Anderson being second in the bowling rankings.

But, four England players - Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, Joe Root and Ben Stokes - made the ODI team of the year.

Kohli scored 1,322 runs at an average of 55.08 in 13 Tests with five hundreds in 2018, while he hit 1,202 runs, including six tons, in 14 ODI's at an average of 133.55.
