Anya Shrubsole has become the first woman to feature on the Wisden Cricketers’ Almanac.
The 26-year-old bowler was named player of the match in the World Cup final last year, when England beat India at Lord's to lift the trophy.
She produced an inspiring performance, taking five wickets in 19 balls as she claimed 6-46, the best figures in a World Cup final.
Shrubsole was quoted on the BBC Sport website: "To be on the front of such an iconic and historic book means a huge amount. It's an amazing honour and privilege. It's a clear representation of the strength of the women's game."
