Manchester United won the Europa League in a highly emotional final yesterday, 24 May.
The Red Devils beat Ajax 2-0 in Stockholm, securing Champions League football for next season.
The match came two days after the Manchester Arena bombing which killed 22 people and injured 64.
Players led a one-minute silence at the beginning of the game, which followed into rapturous applause and chants of ‘Manchester’ around the stadium.
After the game Manchester City tweeted an emotive message, reading: “#ACITYUNITED”.
Many of the players said the win was for the victims of the attack, with manager Jose Mourinho saying: "If we could, we would change obviously the people's lives for this cup."
Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the goals that won the Europa League for the first time in United's history.
