Leeds Rhinos Jamie Jones-Buchanan aiming for 20th season

The Leeds Rhinos star Jamie Jones-Buchanan is targeting for what would be his 20th season at the club, hoping to extend his contract which is currently due to end at the conclusion of the 2017 campaign.

Making his debut at Headingly in 1999, the 35-year-old forward has since made 363 appearances for the club, winning six Grand Finals and one Challenge Cup.

The former England international said: "I've given it a lot of thought and God willing if the body is right and the team wants me then I will have a go again. If you look at the stats in the last two or three years, I have played some of the best rugby I have ever played. Just because I am a certain age doesn't faze me one single bit."
