Heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua’s next fight has been confirmed against Russia’s Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium on 22 September.
The 28-year-old Briton will put his WBA, IBF and WBO world heavyweight titles on the line against 38-year-old Povetkin - the mandatory challenger to the WBA title.
Joshua’s last bout was a unanimous points victory over New Zealander Joseph Parker in Cardiff in March. He remains unbeaten in 21 professional bouts.
Povetkin, the WBA champion from 2011-2013, knocked out David Price on the Joshua-Parker undercard in Cardiff.
