Tottenham club officials have confirmed Harry Kane has sustained ligament damage to his right ankle.
Kane was forced to come off early from the FA Cup match against Millwall on Sunday when he hurt his ankle after a challenge from Jake Cooper.
The team and fans showed concerns as this is the second time the England striker has injured his right ankle.
Club officials released a statement in which they said “We can confirm that Harry Kane sustained ligament damage to his right ankle, the injury is similar to the one suffered by the forward player against Sunderland in September last year, however it is not considered to be as severe. Harry will continue to be assessed by our medical staff while he undergoes his rehabilitation at our training centre."
Kane also took to social media to update and thank his followers.
