Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s action film Alpha, part of YRF’s expanding spy universe, is heading to streaming following its cinema release.
Alia Bhatt's action film Alpha has received its official streaming release date.
The film, which also stars Sharvari, will make its OTT debut on Netflix, with the streaming platform confirming the announcement on Thursday.
Alpha is particularly significant as the first female-led film in Yash Raj Films' spy universe, which has previously featured some of Hindi cinema's biggest stars and franchises.
Alia and Sharvari lead the action thriller as intelligence agents, expanding a cinematic universe that includes the Tiger, War and Pathaan films.
The OTT release will give audiences another opportunity to see the film following its theatrical run.
The announcement is one of the biggest fresh Bollywood streaming stories today, with Alia Bhatt continuing to take on action-orientated roles alongside her established dramatic work.
