Two men were taken to hospital with burn injuries following a gas explosion at a flat in Bradford over the weekend.
Firefighters were called to a flat on Keighley Road, Frizinghall, at 7.30pm on Saturday 1 December and found two men with burns to their heads and shoulders.
One of the men suffered significant injuries and it is understood the crew took the unusual step of taking both of them to hospital in the back of their fire engine – possibly saving the man’s life.
The incident is believed to be related to drugs and police are investigating the circumstances.
