Two guilty of Dewsbury pub car park killing

Two men have been sentenced over the death of a man who was killed in a pub car park in Dewsbury.

Jonathon Binns, 32, was knocked down outside of The Scarborough in Thornhill by a car driven by Jaelan Herlt on 17 February 2017.

The incident occurred when the father-of -one came out of the pub as a fight involving a group of men came to an end.

Seven other men and a 17-year-old boy, all from the Thornhill area, were also involved in the trial.

Herlt and his passenger Khaleem Harris, both 20, were cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter. They will be sentenced on Friday 23 February.
