
Two men have been sentenced to jail after they sprayed acid in the face of teenagers, causing one to partially lose his sight.
Sheffield Crown Court heard how Michael Johnson, threw ammonia acid onto the two teenagers after starting an argument whilst they were buying food.
The 29-year-old was jailed for seven and a half years, whilst Benjamin Brightmore, 26, was sentenced to 18 months for affray.
PC Tom Jordan, the investigating officer, stated: “The boy suffered loss of sight in one of his eyes and is having on-going health issues as a result of the attack.
