A 31-year-old serial attacker has been sentenced to jail after a series of incidents took place at BRI.
Asif Khan, of Thorn Drive, Heaton pleaded guilty to two charges of assault and one public order offence.
One incident that took place on the 20th of November saw, Khan hitting a theatre nurse on the head whilst she was on the phone.
Police were then called to the hospital on the 22nd of November, after receiving reports of Khan shouting and swearing.
The next incident took place on the 31st of October when he kicked a woman and hit a female patient in the back of the head.
Khan has been given 60 days in prison for each offence, he has been ordered to pay £150 compensation to each of his victims, and has now been banned from entering the hospital premises.
He will face up to five years in prison for breaching the order.
