A second man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Birmingham man Umesh Parekh.
The 34-year-old was fatally stabbed in Waverhill Park, Handsworth on Sunday 19 June.
A forensic post mortem examination revealed that he died as a result of stab injuries.
A 40-year-old man handed himself in at a local station yesterday (Tuesday 21 June) and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Meanwhile a 26-year-old man who was arrested earlier yesterday has been released without charge.
Detective Inspector Harry Harrison, said: “This is still very much an active investigation and we continue to appeal to witnesses or anyone who has any information that could help us to come forward.
“Our thoughts remain with the family of Mr Parekh who have been informed of the latest developments in the case. They continue to be supported by specialist officers at this sad time."
