A drama company will be giving teenagers in Bradford schools an educational performance on road safety starting next week.
Bradford Council's Road Safety Team has commissioned a performance piece called ‘The Riot Act’ to deliver their Pedestrian Safety Education Programme 'Deadly Distractions’ to secondary schools’ year seven or year eight pupils.
The performance aims to raise awareness of the risks young people face as a pedestrian, focussing on the danger of distractions and will help students to combat peer pressure.
