Police are investigating reports of a shooting near Manchester College in Harpurhey.
It is believed a shot was fired at a house on Hemsley Street South at around 9.30pm on Wednesday 31 October.
A large area behind the college campus was cordoned off as forensic officers began examinations.
Circulated images show a damaged conservatory door at the scene but no injuries have been reported.
