A pensioner has appeared in court after making a string of nuisance calls to the police, shouting “Muslims out”.
75-year-old Dorothy Anlezark repeatedly rang emergency services whilst drunk a week after the Manchester Arena attack.
Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard how Anlezark, from Salford, later threatened police with violence if they came to her address.
She had been making nuisance calls to emergency services for five years, resulting in attempts to encourage Anlezark to undergo mental health assessments.
She pleaded guilty to two offences of sending a communication conveying a threatening message and was handed a two-year conditional discharge.
