New Year, New Career: West Yorkshire Police Recruits Special Constables

    West Yorkshire Police is kicking off the New Year by recruiting for its Special Constabulary.

    The recruitment window opens on 5 January and will run until 26 January and the Force is looking for exciting and dynamic individuals to join.

    West Yorkshire Police is keen to receive applications from people from diverse groups such as the LGBT community and people with disabilities, as part of West Yorkshire Police's ongoing commitment to represent the communities they serve.

    Assistant Chief Constable Angela Williams, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “As we go into the New Year, it is a perfect time for some to find new and exciting career opportunities, becoming a Special Constable is a privilege, like any other role within the policing family and it can open a variety of opportunities for personal and professional development.”
