A new council-backed initiative has been launched to address the issues of rough sleeping and begging in the Bradford district.
Known as Bradford Cares, the initiative brings together individuals representing over 30 organisations, who will work in partnership to raise awareness of the issues surrounding people who beg and inform the public of positive ways to give.
A new website -- www.streetsupport.net -- will provide a one-stop-shop for information where people can find help or give help. A high-profile awareness campaign will highlight the provision of support the city has, and encourage people to help rough sleepers via the Bradford Cares platform.
Bradford-based cooperative agency Chapel Street Studio -- who are the creative lead on the project -- are now inviting the people to share their views in an online survey as part of a wider study to better understand the different viewpoints surrounding the issues.
You can find the online survey and more information about the campaign by searching #bradfordcares on social media, and join the conversation on the Bradford Cares Forum Facebook group.
