Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died following a targeted shooting in Leeds.
At around 1.20pm yesterday, police received a report of a man having been shot outside a barber's shop, in Gathorne Terrace, Harehills.
Police and ambulance attended the scene and found 19-year-old Raheem Wilks seriously injured.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead later that evening.
A scene remains in place in Gathorne Terrace and is undergoing forensic examination as enquiries continue.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
