A man’s ear was bitten off in an unprovoked attack in Greater Manchester.
Police are now appealing for information as they continue their investigation a month later.
Shortly after 12.00am on Saturday 1 July 2017, police were called to the Overdraught pub on Blackburn Street in Radcliffe to reports of an assault.
The offender approached the victim whilst he was walking to the bar and punched him.
He then bit the victim’s left ear before leaving the pub.
The victim – who is in his 40s – needed hospital treatment and has since required plastic surgery.
An investigation was launched and police are now urging for anyone who may have been in or around the pub at the time to get in touch.
