Detectives have launched an investigation following an armed robbery in Leeds.
At 10.08am yesterday, 16 October, police received a report of an armed robbery outside the NatWest bank on Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton.
The victim, a 38-year-old man, was on his way to deposit business takings when he was approached in the street by a masked man armed with a machete.
He threatened the victim and took the bag of cash he was carrying and left the scene in a grey Volkswagen Polo.
