A man is to stand trial accused of kidnap in Bradford last month.
Paul Serrant, 28, of Withins Close, Great Horton appeared at Bradford Crown Court via video link from Leeds Prison.
He pleaded not guilty to, jointly with Ghurfan Khalid, unlawfully by force or fraud taking or carrying away Ataf Ali against his will.
The charge is in relation to an incident in Westcroft Road, Great Horton on 1 November.
Serrant also denied causing Mr Ali grievous bodily harm with intent and having a machete as an offensive weapon.
The trial date was fixed for 1 May.
