A man has been arrested following an attempted gold robbery in Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police released footage of a man dismounting a bicycle while riding along Wilbraham Road, Fallowfield on Thursday 9 May and attempted to steal gold bangles from the wrist of a woman in her 70s.
The man was chased off by a passing taxi driver and didn’t steal any items from the woman, who sustained bruising injuries.
A man, aged 46, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and released under investigation.
