A 26 year old Man from Stretford has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a 3 year old girl in 2016.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was brought into the court and cross examined via a live video link from a separate room during the trial answering questions from prosecution and defence barristers. She was one of the youngest children to ever be cross examined in a crown court.
The court heard how the girl’s parents found out about the abuse and called Social services immediately and police were also informed.
Thomas Noone, who is dad to a young son, was arrested but denied the charge.
The case was trialled at Minshull Street Crown where the jury found Noone guilty and for this heinous crime was sentenced to three years in prison.
