
A man who attempted to break up a street fight in Manchester is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Portway and Cornishway in Wythenshawe at around 8.30pm on Monday night.
Witnesses said a man in his 60s collapsed after trying to stop a fight near the Cornishman pub.
He was given CPR on the pavement until an ambulance arrived. It is expected that he was struck by a heart attack.
Police have said the man remains seriously-ill in hospital.
