A man has been charged after a machete attack in Manchester city centre.
Ryan McPhee, 27, of Planetree Road, Partington has been charged with section 18 assault.
At around 10.10pm on Friday 16 March, police were called to reports that a man in his 30s had been assaulted outside Barca bar in Catalan Square.
He remains in hospital for treatment for life-changing injuries.
