A man has been arrested in connection with an axe attack in Wyke.
A 30-year-old was taken into custody on suspicion of wounding with intent.
On Sunday night, 17 September, police were called to the Brown Cow pub, Wyke, after a man in his 20s suffered a fractured skull following an attack involving an axe.
A group of men allegedly fled the scene in a Nissan Qashqai.
Police stated they believe the incident to be a targeted attack and the man arrested has been released pending further enquiries.
