Police have charged a 34-year-old man with murder following an incident in Leeds on Thursday 9th March.
Officers were called to an address on Lanshaw Crescent in Belle Isle following reports of a body in a flat.
Police and ambulance services arrived at approximately 6.30 pm, however the victim – 41 year-old Robert Milner, was pronounced dead at the scene.
David Holgate, of Bodmin Road, Leeds, has been charged with the murder and will remain in custody while waiting to appear at Leeds Magistrates court later this week.
West Yorkshire police are investigating the circumstances around the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have any information to contact them immediately on 101.
