Roads in Leeds were brought to a standstill as private hire drivers held a protest over alleged attacks on their vehicles.
A “go-slow” drive was staged in the city centre this morning, 11 December, causing tailbacks as far as five miles out to Horsforth.
The drivers say they want the right to work in unmarked cars as they say their safety is at risk from people who throw bricks at minicabs.
