A jury has been sworn in at Bradford Crown Court in a case over the murder of Amriz Iqbal.
Mr Iqbal, 40, of Wetherby, died in hospital following reports that two men had been struck by a vehicle and assaulted.
Tony Grant, 39, of Queens Road, Bradford, denied murdering Amriz Iqbal in Sandford Road, Bradford Moor, Bradford, on 3 October last year and attempting to murder Adnan Ahmed on the same date.
He also pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Nadeem Khan, 35, of Gledhow Wood Road, Roundhay, Leeds, and Salman Ismail, 31, of West Street, off Idle Road, Bradford, also both denied conspiracy to pervert the course of justice during a hearing last week.
Mohammed Nisar Khan, who was not present in court, would also be contesting all the allegations.
