British Transport Police are appealing for information after a man was kicked in the stomach after asking a man to stop bothering other customers.
The incident happened in the travel centre at Doncaster station on Friday, 3 June at 8pm.
Investigating officer PC Kevin Challinor said: “The victim was standing in a queue at the travel centre waiting to purchase a ticket. He asked a man who was being verbally abusive and swearing at other customers to stop.
“The man reacted by lashing out and kicking the victim in the stomach.
“Quite understandably the victim was left shocked by this attack. No-one should be made to feel uncomfortable, intimated or concerned for their safety in this way, it is simply not acceptable.”
After reviewing CCTV, officers are today issuing an image of a man they want to speak to about the incident.
“The man in the image is someone who I think has information about this incident. Who is he?” added PC Challinor.
